John Mitchell Haulage and Warehousing was established in 1956 and is one of the largest family owned road haulage companies in Scotland. We offer a full range of transport services from our ten acre headquarters in Grangemouth including general haulage, container movements and bulk freight transport. An on site container store can hold up to 2000 shipping containers at any given time and a modern 30,000 sq ft, high bay pallet rack warehouse offers secure storage for a vast range of goods.
Bulk material handling and container packing / re packing are frequently carried out, whilst a vast exterior storage space includes the potential for a 500 metre rail siding.

Currently the John Mitchell road going fleet numbers around 110 fully-liveried commercial vehicles, most of which are MAN TGX tractor units capable of working at 44 tonnes. All of these trucks are less than five years old and this complement hauls a mixture of skeletal, tanker, curtainside and flat trailers. Low loaders, tippers and other special types of trailer are available on request.
